Website Launched
To start off this first newsletter, we are excited to unveil our new website! Take a peek at: http://www.vitalhealthsoftware.com,
and learn more about our background, mission and solutions. Next to
this newsletter, we will actively use our website to communicate
relevant news items.
Development Well Underway
We
are well on our way with the development of our Generic Disease
Management System, the platform that enables us to bring a series of
solutions to market for managing chronic diseases. The first solution
in that series will focus on Diabetes, and is now in prototype stage.
It guides physicians, healthcare professionals and diabetes patients
through effective and proactive management of this disease, based on
proven protocols and best practices.
Pilot Projects Being Prepared
Several
pilot projects are being started to test our disease management system
in the real world. At Mayo Clinic three pilot projects have been
identified: an implementation within the Primary Care department to
support Point of Care Decision Support, a second pilot project, also
within Primary Care, to enable Population Management, and a third pilot
project, within Endocrinology, to implement our software as an
alternative to an existing, older system. We are also preparing several
pilots in The Netherlands. More information will follow.

increasing across the globe. Recently, our CEO (Laurens van der Tang)
presented our mission and strategy to a select group of Dutch and
Indian healthcare executives at an exclusive event in Mumbai, India.
