VitalHealth Software announces the imminent release of Vital for COPD-Asthma 2.2. Together with Vital for Diabetes and Vital for Cardio Vascular Risk Management, the software update further strengthens VitalHealth’s solution portfolio for Integrated care Delivery Networks.

Some of the enhancements include:

Spirometry
The existing spirometry integration with Welch Allyn devices has been expanded to include support for Spida devices

Reporting
Flexible reporting functionality now includes reports for outcomes indicators and practice management.

Referrals
To further strengthen the care delivery network functionality, the software now also supports referrals within a network to e.g. lung specialists and physiotherapists.

Unique Identifier
The software update introduces user alerts that help identify if patient identifiers are unique within the larger context of care groups. This will help avoid the occurrence of duplicate numbers.
