Implementation started in Bijlmer region. Users praise solution as “surprisingly complete”.

Mid 2007, the MedZZo cooperation was started. MedZZo stands for “Medische Zorggroep Zuid-Oost” (Medical Care Group South East). This cooperation is based on a partnership between the physicians in the Bijlmer region, supported by the Diagis project of Agis.

MedZZo sees it as a necessity to implement structured diabetes care in the Bijlmer region, especially given the relatively large number of diabetic patients in that region. MedZZo is a highly motivated and dedicated group of physicians that is ready to start implementing structured diabetes care using VitalHealth software (Vital for Diabetes) with the support of Diagnosis4Health.

Training was completed in April, with every participating practice represented by one or more caregivers. The participants indicated that in their opinion, the use of Vital for Diabetes will help improve the quality of diabetes care in the Bijlmer region. After the training was completed, the solution was praised as “surprisingly complete”
