Shareholders
VitalHealth Software is a joint venture between the Mayo Clinic (United States) and the Noaber Foundation (the Netherlands). The majority of the shares are held by the Mayo Clinic and the Noaber Foundation, each with an equal interest.
The Noaber Foundation
is a Dutch foundation that focuses on social venturing. The foundation
wishes to contribute to stimulating social improvements through the
help of IT-based solutions. Within VitalHealth Software the Noaber
Foundation contributes software expertise, investment capital and
management expertise.
The Mayo Clinic
is one of the world’s larger integrated hospitals. As a shareholder of
VitalHealth Software, the Mayo Clinic supplies medical expertise, as
well as the specifications of DEMS, a system for diabetes management
developed earlier by the hospital. In addition, it is the Mayo Clinic’s
intention to use the VitalHealth Software solutions within its own
organization.
