Board of Directors

The board of VitalHealth Software consists of a number of experienced and senior people:


A. R. (Alan) Schilmoeller (Chairman)

In his 37 years at Mayo Clinic, Mr. Schilmoeller has held multiple leadership positions. Starting in 1991, he was the lead administrator overseeing development of Mayo Health System, a regional network of hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes in more than 65 communities in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Subsequently, he has held the positions of Chief Administrative Officer of Mayo Health System, Vice Chair of Operations and Chair of Mayo Health Company.


P.M.  (Pieter) Oostlander (Member)

Mr. Oostlander started his career as a CPA, including 8 years with Price Waterhouse Coopers and Deloitte respectively. Since 1990 his focus changed to operational financial roles, working with Advanced Semiconductor Materials Europe (Group Controller), Peek Traffic (Finance Director), Sylvan Prometric (CFO EMEA region) and Rigda Group (Group CFO). Mr. Oostlander joined the Noaber Group as Managing Director in 2004, and is an active board member of the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA).


P. (Pieter) de Rijcke (Member)

Mr. De Rijcke is chairman of De Hoge Dennen, a private equity investment firm of the De Rijcke family in the Netherlands. De Hoge Dennen was started after the family sold its stake in international retail businesses such as Netherlands based De Kruidvat (personal care products) and grocery chain Groenwoudt, as well as Belgium based ICI Paris XL (perfumes and lotions).


J.G.P. (Paul) Baan (Advisor)

Co-founder of the Baan Company and founder of private equity investment firm the Vanenburg Group. From 1996-2000, Mr. Baan was Chief Executive Officer of the Vanenburg Group. Current founder and chairman of the Noaber Foundation and George Avenue, both focused on social venturing investments and philantrophy, specifically in the areas of assistive technology, healthcare, education, culture and community projects.

 

H.G.B. (Henk) van den Breemen (Advisor)

Decorated former Chief of Defense Staff for the Dutch Armed Forces. During his career Mr. van den Bremen has represented the Netherlands in various international panels, such as NATO, WEU and CSCE. In the past several years Mr. van den Bremen has been active as chairman, board member and advisor at several companies and foundations, such as the Advisory Board of the Noaber Foundation.  He has considerable expertise in leadership management and restructuring issues within large organizations.
